Editorial and Testing Policy
People rely on codebeautify.org.in to get correct results quickly. This page explains how we build, test, write about and correct our tools.
How we build tools
- Proven foundations. Formatters and parsers are built on widely used, well tested open source libraries, such as standards compliant JSON, YAML, XML and SQL parsers.
- Exact definitions. Unit converters use internationally agreed definitions, for example 1 inch = 2.54 cm and 1 pound = 0.45359237 kg. Financial calculators use standard published formulas, and the formula is shown on the page wherever possible.
- Privacy first. Tools run in your browser so your data never reaches our servers.
How we test
Before a tool goes live it is tested with typical inputs, edge cases such as empty, very large, invalid and Unicode input, and known reference results. Unit conversion tables are generated by the same code that powers the converter, so the table and the tool always agree.
How we write
Each tool page explains what the tool does, how to use it and answers common questions in plain language. We write for clarity, avoid exaggeration and do not make claims we cannot support.
Corrections
If you find an error in a result or on a page, please email contact@codebeautify.org.in with the page URL, your input and the expected result. We review every report, fix confirmed errors as a priority and update the page.
Advertising and independence
Advertising pays for the website, but advertisers never influence tool results or page content. Any sponsored content is clearly labelled.
